Judy Crocker for Republican State Committee
Who knew when my husband Will Crocker decided to run for 2nd Barnstable State Representative in 2006 how much my life would change? I’d always been a regular voter, but I would not have classified myself as “political.” Once I became engaged in the process, I knew it was something I wanted to continue. I became involved with our local town committee, county club and woman’s group.
Additionally, I worked for as many candidates as possible – making phone calls, holding signs, collecting signatures, assisting in media suggestions, walking in parades, and with personal financial contributions.
In 2010, I left my career in radio sales management to become finance director for Jeff Perry’s congressional race, winning the primary and raising almost $1.3 million dollars.
In 2012, I decided to run for Republican State Committee. I believed our state and local candidates needed guidance from someone who had literally been in the trenches and knew what was necessary to win. The electorate agreed and I garnered over 67% of the vote.
I have been involved with many, many campaigns on a local, state and federal level. My most favorite win was of that of my husband, Will Crocker when he was elected in 2016 to the 2nd Barnstable State Representative district. That year was a landmark year, it was the first time the Massachusetts Republican Party picked up a seat in the state legislature in a presidential year in 34 years and I was the campaign manager.
Career:
I am the CEO, Founder and Creative Director of Make You Known Marketing LLC. My company specializes in all facets of advertising from direct mail, radio, digital, print, public relations, event management, web and social media. I also spent over 28 years in management, operations, news and sales in the broadcasting industry. These skills are a tremendous advantage when advising candidates and coordinating campaigns.
